As Ramadan draws to an end, millions of Muslims around the world are preparing for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
It begins following the sighting of the new moon, which is predicted to occur on Wednesday, April 10 this year.
Eid al-Fitr: What is it?
The “festival of breaking the fast” is known as Eid al-Fitr.
